On Monday August 7, 2017, at 1:01 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the report of an overturned semi-truck and trailer near Southeast Grand Avenue and Southeast Morrison Street.

Officers arrived on the scene and contacted the driver of the semi-truck. The driver was cooperative with the investigation and had a minor injury that did not require medical treatment.

The right two lanes of Southeast Morrison Street west of Southeast Grand Avenue are closed until the semi-truck and trailer are turned upright. Currently a heavy duty tow truck has been ordered to assist in clearing the crash scene. Traffic will be impacted by the crash for the next three to four hours. When the tow truck arrives all lanes of traffic on Southeast Morrison Street near the crash location will likely be closed.
