8/8/2017-This evening just after 7pm fire crews were called to a grass fire just off I205 at 92nd and Schuyler. Arriving firefighters found grass, shrubs and trees on fire. The incident commander requested 5 total fire engines to assist with extinguishing the blaze and it was brought under control within 40 minutes.

An ambulance was called when one firefighter suffered a medical issue, likely related to dehydration and the high outside temperature. The issue doesn't appear to be life threatening. A fire investigator was called to determine the cause of this fire.
