July 12, 2017 -- This evening, just after 6 p.m., Rebecca "Becky" Buhrle was located by Portland Police Bureau officers in the vicinity of Northwest Glisan Street and Northwest 4th Avenue in downtown Portland. Officers checked on her welfare and notified her family.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Portland Police Bureau, the media, and the public for their assistance. The original media release is below.

Detectives Need Help Locating Female Missing from Aloha

July 12, 2017 -- Detectives request the public's help in locating 42-year-old Rebecca "Becky" Buhrle. Ms. Buhrle's family reported that she has been missing since July 4th. She has health conditions that make her medically fragile.

On Monday, July 10, 2017, just before 4 p.m., Washington County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the report of a missing person. Family members reported that 42-year-old Becky Buhrle was last seen on July 4, 2017 in the community of Aloha.

Ms. Buhrle has multiple health conditions that make her medically fragile. She does not have her medications with her and her family is deeply concerned by the length of time she has been gone.

She is new to the area, but is familiar with TriMet. She frequents the Tanasbourne area of Washington County.

If the public has information on Ms. Buhrle's whereabouts, they are asked to contact non-emergency dispatch at 503-629-0111.

The family does not wish to speak with the media.
