TRAFFIC #ALERT: POLICE RESPOND TO UNRESPONSIVE MALE ON BUS ON N. GREELEY

On Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at 9:01 a.m., TriMet contacted Portland Police regarding a male subject who had fallen asleep at the front of a bus traveling in the area of North Willamette Blvd. and North Greeley Avenue. The subject had a handgun in his waistband. The bus was evacuated and police have attempted to contact the man, but he has remained unresponsive.
The bus is parked on North Greeley Avenue, just north of Willamette Blvd. Traffic is affected in this area.

The Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) will be responding on a limited callout in an attempt to resolve this situation.
