On Saturday July 8, 2017, at 4:21 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of a drive-by shooting in the 15500 block of Southeast Alder Street.

Officers arrived in the area and learned that someone in a smaller white SUV fired multiple shots at three males in front of a house. Witnesses told police that three black males were in the SUV and the driver sped out of the area after the shooting.

Officers located the three males who are believed to be the intended victims, none of whom suffered any injuries.

Based on information learned at the scene, the Gang Enforcement Team (GET) is responding to conduct an investigation.

Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call the Police Non-Emergency Line or email information to gangs@portlandoregon.gov.

Information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube should be shared with investigators as these tips may lead to the identification of a suspect or suspects.

If you see a gun crime in progress, call 9-1-1.
