Shooting Investigation Overnight in Northeast Portland's Concordia Neighborhood - No Injuries

On Tuesday July 4, 2017, at 2:58 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of gunfire in the area of Northeast 24th Avenue and Sumner Street.

Officers arrived in the area and located a residence in the 5200 block of Northeast 24th Avenue with gunfire damage. Officers contacted the residents and determined that there were no injuries.

Based on information learned at the scene, the Gang Enforcement Team responded to conduct an investigation into the shooting.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 503-823-4106 or email information to gangs@portlandoregon.gov.

Information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube should be shared with investigators as these tips may lead to the identification of a suspect or suspects.

If you see a gun crime in progress, call 9-1-1.
