POINT serves Warrant in west Salem netting Meth and Cash (Photo)

On 7-13-2017 members of the Polk Interagency Narcotics Team (POINT), assisted by the Polk County Sheriff's Office, served a search warrant at the residence located at 1489 Cresthill Avenue NW, Salem, Polk County, Oregon. During the search of the residence detectives located 29.4 grams of methamphetamine, 4 tablets of Naloxone Hydrochloride (a Schedule II Controlled Substance), $4,549.00 in cash hidden in a shoe box, various items of drug use paraphernalia and packaging materials.

Prior to the search warrant being served the main target of the investigation, Sean Kirk, was stopped in a Toyota Camry he was driving in the city of Independence. Mr. Kirk was arrested on several charges related to the distribution of Methamphetamine stemming from a two month long investigation. Mr. Kirk was found to be in possession of 7.4 grams of Heroin, 6.4 grams of methamphetamine, drug use paraphernalia and packaging materials.

The following subjects were arrested based on the above investigation and lodged at the Polk County Jail for the listed charges. In addition, 3 juvenile children were placed into protective custody at the residence and turned over to the Department of Human Services Child Protection Agency for placement in safe homes.

Unlawful Possession of Heroin -- 1 count
Mr. Kirk is being held on $525,000.00 bail

Melissa Wrighthouse
DOB/ 2-24-1985
Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine -- 1 Count
Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine -- 1 Count
Child Neglect I -- 2 Counts
Endangering the Welfare of a Minor -- 2 Counts
Ms. Wrighthouse is being held on $500,000.00 bail

Marvin Gladden Jr.
DOB/ 4-12-1977
Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine -- 1 Count
Endangering the Welfare of a Minor -- 1 Count
Child Neglect 1 -- 1 Count
Mr. Gladden was conditionally released on the above listed charges
