Lengthy drug trafficking investigation results in arrests (Photo)

On July 6, 2017 the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force, assisted by the Clark County Sheriff's Office, Safe Streets Task Force, Vancouver Police Department Neighborhood Response Teams and Department of Corrections, served 4 search warrants within Clark County, dismantling an upper level Drug Trafficking Organization. Search Warrants were served on a vehicle and 3 residences: 6908 NE 91st Avenue, 2404 NE 92nd Avenue and 15708 NE 89th Street.

During the subsequent investigation, a total of 18.8 pounds of Methamphetamine ($137,000 street value), 13 firearms (1 stolen), $9300 in cash and 2 vehicles were seized.
Detectives made 3 arrests: 18 year old Uriel Alvarado-Ponce, 39 year old Hector Sanchez-Alejandro and 44 year old Rosalina Aguilar all of Vancouver, WA. All charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to deliver.

The investigation into this Organization dates back over 1 year and has prior prosecutions on both the State and Federal levels. In total, over the past year, Detectives with Vancouver Police and the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force have served 10 search warrants and seized 28.8 pounds of Methamphetamine ($209,000 street value), 21 firearms (3 stolen), $91,000 and 9 vehicles.
