**UPDATE** Body of Missing Camas Woman Located

News Release from Camas Police Dept.
Posted on FlashAlert: June 16th, 2017 6:55 PM
At about 3:40pm Camas Police responded to a report of a woman's body being located in Lacamas Creek south of the Lacamas Lake dam. This section of water is within Lacamas Park and is commonly referred to by locals as the "Potholes".

Because of the location of the body, members of the Georgia Pacific MERT Team shut the water off at the dam to allow rescue workers to safely retrieve the body. The Camas/Washougal Fire Department was able to recover the body and it matched the physical description of 40 year-old missing Camas resident, Alisha McRay, and she was later identified by family.

The body has been turned over to the Clark County Medical Examiner's Office, however, foul-play is not suspected.
