Shooting Victim Walks Into Portland Hospital

On Saturday June 10, 2017, at 9:08 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to an area hospital on a report that a shooting victim had been dropped off at the location with non-life-threatening wounds. As officers responded to contact the victim at the hospital, additional officers from East Precinct investigated reports of gun shots at 12702 East Burnside Street. During the investigation officers learned the gunshot victim had been driven to the hospital by private vehicle from 12702 East Burnside Street after he was shot.

East Precinct officers responded and located evidence of the shooting at 12707 East Burnside Street. Criminalists from the Forensic Evidence Division responded to the location and assisted with the investigation. Detectives are still investigating this incident. Further updates will follow as more information becomes available.
