Shooting Investigation Underway in Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood -- One Person Injured

On Sunday June 11, 2017 at 1:18 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the Glenwood Apartments, located at 13116 SE Powell Blvd on the report of a shooting with one person injured.

Officers and medical personnel arrived in the area and located a 17-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds and evidence of gunfire. The victim was transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment. Preliminary information indicates the injuries are life-threatening.

Based on information learned at the scene, the Gang Enforcement Team has responded to conduct an investigation.
