On Sunday June 4, 2017, at 8:13 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report that a shooting victim was at the Plaid Pantry store located at 11010 Southeast Foster Road.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located a 36-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

Preliminary information indicates that the shooting likely occurred in the area of Southeast 92nd Avenue and Knapp Street and that it is gang-related.

There have been no arrests and no suspect information available at this time.
