The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help to locate a missing 55-year-old woman.

Doreen Peterson is described as a black female, 5'4" tall, 140 pounds, wearing a shoulder-length red wig.

Peterson left her care facility in the 1100 block of Southeast 144th Avenue sometime over night. She is not familiar with TriMet and likely would not know her way home. She should know her name, if contacted.

Anyone seeing Peterson is asked to call 9-1-1 so police officers can check her welfare. Anyone with non-emergency information should contact Detective Lori Fonken at 503-823-1081, lori.fonken@portlandoregon.gov.
