On June 14, 27 year old Joshua Thomas Stoulil of Newberg was taken into custody on a warrant stemming from a narcotics investigation conducted by the Yamhill County Interagency Narcotics Team (YCINT) over the last three weeks.

The case resulted in a search warrant which was served on Stoulil's apartment on May 27th located at 315 N. Meridian Street in the City of Newberg. The warrant resulted in the seizure of over a quarter pound of heroin, a small amount of methamphetamine and over $11,000 cash.

Stoulil was lodged in the Yamhill County Correctional Facility on charges of Delivery and Possession of Heroin and Possession of Methamphetamine. His bail is currently set at $500,000.

YCINT Board Chair, Sheriff Tim Svenson, praised the work of the narcotics team and assisting law enforcement agencies in the successful investigation. "The current epidemic of heroin and other opiates needs to be at the forefront of our narcotics investigations. We cannot let these drugs continue to gain footholds in our communities and infiltrate our youth. We will continue to support our interagency model and work together to reduce its availability."

YCINT was assisted in the investigation by the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office and the Newberg --Dundee Police Department.
