Multiple Businesses Burglarized Overnight in Northeast Portland

MULTIPLE BUSINESSES BURGLARIZED OVERNIGHT IN NORTHEAST PORTLAND

Early this morning, Thursday June 15, 2017, North Precinct officers began responding to numerous reports of burglaries to small businesses.

The first call came in at 4:36 a.m. to 3033 Northeast Alberta Street. Subsequent burglary reports were taken at the following locations:

* 1800 Northeast Alberta Street
* 3023 Northeast Alberta Street
* 3039 Northeast Alberta Street
* 5501 Northeast 30th Avenue
* 5507 Northeast 30th Avenue
* 1806 Northeast Alberta Street

At this point, there is no solid suspect information. Preliminary information indicates that a suspect or suspects is breaking glass to make entry and steal cash drawers.

If suspect information is developed and/or if useful surveillance video is obtained, the Bureau may release updates to the public.

Anyone with information about any of these burglaries is asked to report it to the Police Non-Emergency Line at 503-823-3333, or email to CrimeTips@Portlandoregon.gov. Businesses needing to file a report should call the non-emergency line only.
