Early this morning, around 0024 HRS, Oregon City Police were notified of a silent alarm at Gerber Collision Center, located at 128 S. Mcloughlin Blvd.

Oregon City Police Officers arrived shortly after the alarm. As the officers were checking the Gerber Collision Center they observed the suspect had gained access into the adjacent locked fenced area of Bud's Towing, located at 126 S. McLoughlin Blvd. Officers observed the unsuspecting male suspect, get into a car in the fenced secure lot. Officers were able to get access into the fenced area of Bud's Towing and arrested the suspect without incident.

The suspect was identified as 43-year-old Milwaukie resident, Edward Eugene Davis. Edward Eugene Davis was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on Burglary II, Criminal Trespass II and Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle.
