Medford Fire-Rescue is kicking off summer by inviting the public to visit our annual Fire Department Open House this Saturday June 10th from 1:00-4:00 PM. This year's Open House will occur at our new Fire Station #4, located at 2208 Table Rock Road (adjacent to the Railroad Park).

Bring your family and friends out for an afternoon of fun and refreshments and meet your local firefighters who will be on hand to talk and show you a bit about what we do and offer fire safety information. Children are encouraged to participate in our Jr. Firefighter Safety Challenge by visiting each "station" and answering a fire/health question. Then show us your quiz card at the exit and earn a cool prize!

At this event you'll get to:

* Tour the new fire station and see fire engines
* See a live fire flashover/fire sprinkler demonstration
* Watch as firefighters use their specialized tools to cut up a car
* Participate in a Jr. Fitness Obstacle Course
* Meet Smokey Bear and learn about wildland/fireworks safety
* Get CPR/AED information
* Learn about smoke alarms and having "two ways out"

We look forward to seeing you there!
