Linn County Undersheriff Jim Yon reports today, Christopher Michael Douglass 35-years-old of Albany, was arrested on several sex abuse crimes against a juvenile female.

On May 16, 2017, deputies completed their investigation of Douglass and obtained a warrant for his arrest. Deputies later learned that Douglass had fled the state to an unknown location. Deputies continued the investigation and received leads that he was possibly in Bullhead City, Arizona. Deputies contacted Bull Head City Police Department and told them of Douglass' warrant. Bull Head Police Department located Douglass on June 4, 2017, and after a short foot chase he was arrested without incident.

Douglass was extradited to Oregon from Arizona and is now lodged in the Linn County Jail. Douglass is pending charges of Sex Abuse I and Unlawful Sexual Penetration II.

This investigation is continuing. The Sheriff's Office believes there could be more victims of Douglass and are asking anyone with information to contact Senior Deputy Lacy at 541-967-3950.
