Posted on FlashAlert: May 4th, 2017 12:36 PM
The pedestrian involved in Sunday evening's crash, 30-year-old Eve Marie Dorner, died late Tuesday May 2 as a result of her injuries.

The driver involved in the crash was identified as 85-year-old Janice DelRidge of Gresham.

Traffic officers learned that DelRidge was driving her GMC Yukon eastbound on Northeast Killingsworth Street in the right lane when she struck Dorner in the lane of traffic. Officers learned that Dorner was crossing Killingsworth from the north side to the south side when she was struck by DelRidge's vehicle. The location of the crash was mid-block where there is no marked or unmarked crosswalk or informal intersection crossing capabilities.

DelRidge remained at the scene and was cooperative. There was no evidence that she was impaired or driving distracted.

Once the investigation is complete, it will be forwarded to the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office for a review for any criminal or violation-level charges.
