STABBING INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY IN DOWNTOWN PORTLAND - ONE PERSON INJURED

On Friday May 12, 2017, at 10:03 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the report of a stabbing outside The Nines Hotel on Southwest Morrison Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located the male adult victim suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a Portland hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect fled the scene and is described as a white male in his 20s, 6'2" tall, slim build, a thin, pale face, clean-shaven, wearing all black clothing.

Preliminary information indicates that there is no apparent connection between the victim and suspect.
