SHOOTING INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY ON MLK - NO KNOWN INJURIES

On Saturday May 6, 2017, at 8:09 p.m., North Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to the report of gunfire on Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Dekum Street.

Officers arrived in the area and spoke to witnesses who described a person with a gun running eastbound on Dekum Street from MLK. The person with the gun is described as a Black male in his 30s, 5'9" to 6'01" tall, medium build, wearing all black clothing.

Officers located evidence of gunfire and damage to a bus shelter on MLK at Bryant Street.
