SHOOTING INVESTIGATION OVERNIGHT IN NORTH PORTLAND'S ARBOR LODGE NEIGHBORHOOD - NO INJURIES

On Monday May 8, 2017, at 6:48 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of gunfire in the area of North Vincent Avenue and North Willamette Boulevard.

Officers arrived in the area and spoke to witnesses who described hearing gunfire and seeing a dark green or gray, full-size SUV being driven northbound on North Vincent Avenue. The driver was described as a Black or Hispanic female and the passenger was described as a Black male, 20 to 30 years old, with a large afro hairstyle. The passenger was firing a handgun out the passenger-side window towards Willamette Boulevard.

No gunshot victims or damage were located at the scene and there is no information on an intended target.
