1C 2017-788

On 05/05/2017 at about 0752 hrs., police responded to the 300 block of SW Lake Shore Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. One party had left on foot before police arrived. A report was taken.

1C 2017-791

On 05/05/2017 at around 1605 hrs., police were dispatched to a theft in the 600 block of S Beach Road. There are no suspects at this time.

On 05/05/2017 at around 1701 hrs., police were dispatched to a welfare check in the 200 block of N Broadway Street. An intoxicated person was detained on a civil detox hold and was transported to the Hooper Sobering Facility in Portland.

On 05/07/2017 at around 0122 hrs., police stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the area of SE Highway 224 and SE River Mill Road. The driver had a suspended driver license and the vehicle was not insured. She was cited and her vehicle was impounded.

On 05/07/2017 at about 1200 hrs., police were dispatched to the Juvenile Intake Assessment Center to assist in transporting a juvenile to a hospital.

On 05/04/2017 at 1144 hrs., police responded to the 17000 block of Hoffman Avenue regarding trespassing. The RP said the house was recently sold at auction and was boarded up by the new owners. An unknown person had broken into the home, plugged all the sinks and tubs and left the water running, causing extensive water damage to the structure. There are no suspects at this time.

On 05/04/2017 at 1327 hrs., a victim called police to report his vehicle was broken into while parked in front of his home in the 18000 block of Helms Court. A flashlight, loose change and a Garmin GPS (valued at $300) were stolen.

On 05/04/2017 at about 1519 hrs., an citizen brought in a found dog from Mile Marker 29 on Highway 26 near Sandy. The dog was transported to Clackamas County Dog
Services.

On 05/05/2017 at about 0851 hrs., police responded to the area of Olson Street and Jewelberry Avenue regarding a non-injury motor vehicle crash. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. No citations were issued.

On 05/05/2017 at 1109 hrs., police contacted two juveniles near the intersection of Hood Street and Beers Avenue. The two juveniles were skipping school, and one was listed as a runaway. The runaway juvenile was taken into protective custody and later released to a parent. The other juvenile was transported back to the High School.

On 05/06/2017 at 0837 hrs., a victim called police to report his vehicle was stolen the previous evening from the 39000 block of Cascadia Village Drive. A report was taken.

On 05/06/2017 at about 0935 hrs., police responded to the 38000 block of Proctor Boulevard regarding a suspicious person. A suspect was taken into custody and was transported to the Clackamas County Jail. A report is pending (CAD).

On 05/06/2017 at 1337 hrs., police took a report of a theft from a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 40700 block of Highway 26. A vehicle window was broken and tools were stolen.

On 05/06/2017 at 2332 hrs., police stopped a vehicle for multiple moving violations. Kristina Hawkins (45, of Portland), was cited for Speeding and was arrested for DUI-Alcohol and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Her vehicle was impounded. Hawkins was transported to the Clackamas County jail, where she was held on $5000 bail.

On 05/07/2017 at about 1040 hrs., police were notified by dispatch that Corey R. Kingsmith (29, of Sandy) wanted to turn himself in at the Sandy Police Department. Mr. Kingsmith said he had warrant(s) for his arrest. Police confirmed warrants out of Grant County and transported him to the Clackamas County Jail, where he was lodged on warrants for Contempt and Failure to Appear. He was held on $17,500 bail.

On 05/07/2017 at about 1820 hrs., an officer responded to a report of a traffic crash in the 16000 block of 362nd Drive. The officer facilitated and exchange of driver and insurance information.

On 05/07/2017 at 1856 hrs., police responded to a cold domestic disturbance in the 38700 block of Park Street. A report was taken and will be forwarded to the District Attorney to review for charges.
