ROBBERY AND SHOTS FIRED IN NORTHEAST PORTLAND'S KING NEIGHBORHOOD - NO INJURIES

On Friday May 5, 2017, at 2:36 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery and shooting at Northeast 11th Avenue and Sumner Street.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted the victims who were in a vehicle. Neither person was injured.

Officers learned that the male and female victims were sitting in a vehicle when to men approached them and demanded the male victim's property. After obtaining some of the victim's property, the suspects walked away and one of the suspects fired multiple shots at the victims' vehicle, striking and damaging the car.

The suspect with the gun was described as a Black male, 22 years old, 5'11" tall, medium build, wearing a bandana covering his face. The second suspect was described as similar to the first, wearing a white tank top, carrying a knife.

Several officers searched the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the suspect's description.
