Hazel Dell bar stabbing Arrest Update

On May 13th at about 2:42 in the morning Deputies were dispatched to a report of a Stabbing victim at a local hospital. Deputies arrived and learned that the crime had happened in the parking lot of a local bar.

The victim received multiple stab wounds, which caused serious injuries. Deputies reached out to Major Crimes Detectives to take over the investigation. Detectives responded and were able to identify several witnesses to the crime. Detectives were able to identify a single subject in the incident. The subject was contacted by phone and voluntarily met with detectives. After being interviewed he was booked into the Clark County Jail for one count of Assault in the First Degree.

On May 13, 2017 at approximately 0242 hours, deputies with the Clark County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to an area hospital on the report of a stabbing victim who had been transported to the hospital by an acquaintance.

Responding deputies learned that the victim had been stabbed at a bar in the Hazel Dell area of Clark County. Detectives with the Clark County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit responded and are currently investigating.

The victim's name and extent of injuries are not being released at this time.
