Vancouver, Wash. -- On Friday, April 28, 2017, law enforcement officers from the Vancouver, Battle Ground and Washougal Police Departments conducted increased DUI enforcement in an effort to keep drunk, drugged and high drivers off our roadways.

The enforcement resulted in a total of 64 contacts, 4 DUI arrests, 6 citations, 39 warnings and 2 other arrests.

This DUI emphasis was made possible thanks to a grant from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission as part of Target Zero, Washington's strategic road map for eliminating traffic fatalities and serious injuries by 2030.

The next DUI emphasis in SW Washington will be Friday, May 5th.
