Camas Police Investigate Possible Drowning at Lacamas Lake

CAMAS POLICE INVESTIGATE POSSIBLE DROWNING AT LACAMAS LAKE

On 5-27-17 at approximately 1630 hours, Camas Police were dispatched to Lacamas Lake on a possible drowning. It was reported 18 year old Vancouver resident Hunter Pearson went into the water and did not make it back to shore. Clark County Marine Patrol and Multnomah County Dive Team responded to assist. At approximately 2130 hours, a body was recovered from the lake. The body matched the physical description of Pearson. The Clark County Medical Examiner's Office responded to the scene and took possession of the body and will positively identify the body and render a cause of death.
