On May 5, 2015 at about 0900 hours the Lake Oswego police department received a call from the Lake Oswego Junior High School regarding a bomb threat on the wall in the girls bathroom.
The school officials decided to evacuate the students to a safe area. Officers arrived on scene and began searching the premises. Due to the size of the school and the time it would take to search, bomb sniffing dogs were requested.
Portland Police bomb squad mobile command center is on scene and teams are currently in the process of checking the school.
All children are safe and are currently being released to their parents.

With the assistance of the Portland Police bomb squad, the Lake Oswego Junior High School has been thoroughly searched and determined to be safe. There were no explosive devices located and the case is still under investigation.
