On Monday May 1, 2017, at 2:35 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of a burglary alarm at Best Baguette, located at 8308 Southeast Powell Boulevard. Officers arrived in the area and located evidence of a burglary. After determining that no suspects remained in the business, officers reviewed surveillance video from the business and obtained a suspect description.

At approximately 3:22 a.m., officers spotted two men matching the suspect description standing at Southeast 82nd Avenue and Powell Boulevard. Both were taken into custody without incident and transported to Burglary detectives to be interviewed.

44-year-old Ly Quang Tran and 43-year-old Hieu Van Duong were booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Burglary in the Second Degree (two counts).
