SHOOTING INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY IN SOUTHEAST PORTLAND - ONE PERSON INJURED

On Friday April 28, 2017, at 9:29 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to Southeast 136th Avenue and Powell Boulevard on the report of a shooting.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located a male in his late-teens or early-20s suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

Preliminary information indicates that the suspects are two black males, one wearing a red t-shirt, last seen running westbound on Powell Boulevard.

Southeast 136th Avenue between Powell Boulevard and Division Street is closed due to the ongoing investigation.
