On December 28, 2015 Vancouver Police arrested Scotty R. Rowles, DOB 10/30/1965, for 5 counts of Criminal Trespass II stemming from 2 cases. Rowles was booked into the Clark County Jail. Rowles was identified via citizen tips called in after his photo was released and in the second case, he was contacted by police who found him outside the victim's bedroom window. Both cases took place in the Walnut Grove neighborhood and the victims, all elderly females, live within a mile of the suspect's residence.

The Vancouver Police department is seeking the public's help in identifying a male subject who entered multiple times into the back yard of a residence in the Walnut Grove neighborhood north of the Vancouver Westfield Mall. The subject was heard moaning outside the resident's window. He was photographed by a security camera in mid-November. An image from that camera is attached. The subject is a white male between approximately 5-10 to 6 ft tall, wears glasses, a short-waisted dark colored jacket, and a "driving" style hat.
