GLADSTONE POLICE PROMOTING SAFE DRIVING DURING HOLIDAY WEEKEND

The Gladstone Police Department will be providing enhanced patrols over the New Year's holiday weekend. Officer will be conducting DUII enforcement patrols beginning at 5pm on December 31st. Drivers are reminded to slow down, avoid distractions, wear their seatbelts and most importantly, not to drink and drive. TriMet is offering free bus and MAX light rail rides after 8pm or use a designated driver or call a taxi if you'll be drinking. Make smart and safe choice so you can enjoy your holiday celebration, get home safely and look forward to 2016.
