American Red Cross - Cascades Region: Responders are assisting dozens affected by a Salem fire. A multi-family fire at an apartment building in the 4000 block of La Palms Lane NE in Salem has affected at least 12 units. Red Cross is assessing needs and will provide support for immediate basic needs. The Red Cross advocates emergency preparedness and offers the installation of free smoke alarms in communities across Oregon and southwest Washington.
