On January 28,2013, Thomas Rozwood, president of the YMCA board of directors, reported an embezzlement to the Longview Police Department. Mr. Rozwood advised the YMCA conducted a financial audit in December 2012 and several thousand dollars in discrepancies were discovered. The YMCA completed an in depth audit and initiated an internal investigation into the matter. Longview Police detectives began a criminal investigation with the information provided by Mr. Rozwood. The investigation revealed in excess of $150,000 had been stolen during the past several years. On February 26, detectives interviewed the suspect, Tomi Dupper (57 years old). Dupper was a bookkeeper for the YMCA and had been employed there for 23 years. Dupper admitted to stealing funds from the YMCA during the past several years.
